Greta Monika Tučkutė

Deputy Minister of National Defence of Lithuania

Greta Monika Tučkutė is the Deputy Minister of National Defence of Lithuania. Her areas of responsibility are – defence procurement and cybersecurity policy. For the past two years she worked at NATO, as an advisor to NATO SGSR WPS. Prior to joining NATO Greta Monika Tučkutė served as an advisor to the Minister of Defence of Lithuania. In 2005 she established and had been running for more than ten years an independent think-tank - Centre for Geopolitical Studies, which focused on defence and security policy issues, geopolitical analysis and energy security questions. In 2011 - 2013 she worked in an ammunition factory based in Lithuania as a sales and marketing manager.

In the past, Greta Monika published a number of analytical publications and initiated public discussions analyzing the most relevant security policy issues. Greta Monika Tučkutė holds a BA degree in law and an MA degree in Conflicts and Sustainable Peace Studies (KU Leuven, Belgium).
