Liudas Ališauskas

Director of National Cyber Security Centre under the Ministry of National Defence of Lithuania

Liudas has started his career as a military officer. After graduation from the General Jonas Žemaitis Military Academy with a Master's in HR management and a Bachelor's in Public Administration, Liudas first served in the Lithuanian Armed Forces. He then joined the Ministry of National Defence, where he first took up a role of a security officer in Information and Communication Technologies, and later, in Critical Information Infrastructure. In 2016, Liudas assumed the position of Head of Information Security Department of “Ignitis Group”, the largest energy company in Lithuania, -, and at the same time was a member of the Cyber Security Council, an advisory body to the Ministry of National Defence. For two years, he worked as a CISO at a private company “ConnectPay” before returning to the public sector in 2022 as the director of the National Cyber Security Centre under the Ministry of National Defence.
